Returning back to the Woodlands, Showdown Championships made its final appearance at Anime Matsuri. Taking its first foray into streaming, Showdown featured tournaments for Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Street Fighter X Tekken, Mortal Kombat 9, King of Fighters 13, Soul Calibur 5, BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend, and Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code.
