With the excitement of Street Fighter 4, this was our first time holding the game at Showdown. Awaiting the winners for Street Fighter 4 and BlazBlue, besides SBO spots, was the Final Boss Challenge. As a special event for this tournament, we featured two of the best players from Japan in their respective games. The winners of of each game faced off with the Final Bosses in front of thousands during the Main Event once again. With the exception of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core, all of the games in the Showdown line up were all brand new games.
